 Free Monitoring

We provide you with software that will do a light proactive scan to determine the health of your equipment. If our NOC is alerted to a health issue, then you will be notified in advance of our findings. This can help mitigate any issue before it becomes a full blown outage.

Managed Services Vs. Break/Fix.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Meaning, If you put in a little effort to prevent an issue, then you won’t have to put in a lot of effort to solve the issue.
At ServiceDesk, we firmly believe that the best support is the support you didn’t even know you were getting. Our monitoring platform regularly works in the background monitoring and proactively fixing a majority of the issues automatically. However, there are always issues that can’t be avoided. When outages occur, which will happen from time to time, we’ll be on it!
No matter which option you choose for your business, ServiceDesk will be there to ensure that we deliver the very best in IT services. It is however our duty to point out bad along with the good so that you are equipped with the knowledge necessary to make the best decision for your company.
With that said, the Break/Fix Model does have some disadvantages compered to the Managed or Proactive IT model.

Downside to Break/Fix

  • Unpredictable costs:  In this model it is difficult to predict the monthly fee’s a business will incur each month
  • Prolonged Downtime:  Your system may be down without your knowledge as there is no proactive monitoring alerting to the system health
  • High Risk:  Your systems could fail at any given time, loss of data can occur or become corrupt without you even realizing it until it is too late
  • Servers:  They require ongoing maintenance in order to ensure optimal performance
  • Affordability:  This service is billed by the hour and depending on the outage can add up to more then the monthly fee for a Proactive or Managed service plan

Pricing


In a break-fix model, the pricing is based on an hourly rate. However, we do sell a 10 hour block at a discounted rate. These hours are good for the month and do not role over, so please keep that in mind.
  • Hourly rate – $125
  • 10 Hour Blocks – $1000 ($100 /hr)
